They have absolutely outplayed Punjab tonight and massively boosted their chances of finishing in the Top 4 this season. 212 was always a huge score to defend on this ground and their bowlers rose to the occasion in exceptional fashion, ensuring a massive win which boosts their already amazing net run rate which could come to play at the end of the League phase. An off cutter on length from Khaleel, Rahul backs away and looks to hit it over cover but the ball goes really high towards mid off. Kane from cover runs a long way, keeps his eye on the ball and takes the ball with a dive even as it got a little away from him. Brilliant catching! Punjab's best batsman tonight departs.

Not a lot of batting left now for the visitors. Rahul has to do it all alone.

A length ball on a slower pace outside off, the Hyderabad skipper looks to loft it over covers on the back foot. He does not get the elevation though and the ball goes to cover where Murugan jumps high and takes a brilliant catch. He does really well to hold onto the ball as well as he falls down after completing the catch. Shami is happy. Hyderabad won't mind though, they will look to maximise the runs here.

Saha starts walking back but for some reason, he stops at the non-striker's end. Eventually he has to walk back as the umpire indicates that he has been given. Punjab on the other hand, have been poor with the ball, they are guilty of bowling a little too straight and have paid the price here.
