One of India's most successful and beloved fast bowlers, Zaheer Khan celebrates his 40th birthday on Sunday and former cricketers such as Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, VVS Laxman and many more wished the former pacer on the special occasion.
Zaheer is oftenly knows as the 'Indian King of Reverse Swing' and was an integral part of many iconic victories for India including the historic World Cup 2011 triumph. The left-arm seamer was the highest wicket-taker for the Indian team in the 2003, 2011 World Cup.
The BCCI also wished the southpaw in a throwback video, where he claimed his best bowling figures against Sri Lanka.

The Arjuna awardee has picked up 282 ODI wickets in his career and has an outstanding average of 29.44, while in the longest format he is just behind legendary Kapil Dev in the list of most wicket in Test cricket for India with 311 in his bag.
Zaheer made his ODI debut in 2000 against Kenya and since then he became an integral part of every former Indian captain's plan, whether it is Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble or Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Former Indian players took Twitter to wish the 40-year old.
Veteran Indian opener Virender Sehwag wished his former teammate by posting a photo of him in his witty ways, “Happy Birthday to the man whose deliveries gatecrashed many stumps, have a great life ahead Gyaan Baba @ImZaheer !”
While Harbhajan Singh who often spends time with the former pacer in the commentary box, took to Twitter,” Happy birthday Mr khan @ImZaheer what a top man.”
