The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared pictures of Indian players arriving for a training session in Essex, ahead of the five Test matches which start from August 1 in Birmingham. The Board captioned it: "The boys are here at Essex for a training session ahead of the Test series against England. #TeamIndia"
In another tweet bowlers, Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah are seen stretching their bodies while R Ashwin and Ravi Jadeja are practising bowling spin. On the hand Test regulars, Cheteshwar Pujara and Karun Nair are spotted chatting.
In the pictures shared by the governing body, fast bowler Umesh Yadav is seen walking out to the field for practice. The Indian skipper Virat Kohli, opener KL Rahul and Test wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik are also seen stepping on to the ground with their kitbags looking to hone their skills for the longest format.
The almost three months long tour of the British Isles will come to an end with the last and final Test of the series to be played from September 7-11.
