The Afghanistan cricket team celebrated Eid in style before the 2nd Day of the one-off Test match against hosts India. The entire staff and players of the Afghanistan camp gathered together on the ground in their cultural and traditional attire to mark the auspicious festival.
The Board of Control for Cricket of India (BCCI) shared a few pictures on their official Twitter handle where the likes of skipper Asghar Stanikzai, Rashid Khan and Mohammad Shahzad and other players are seen exchanging pleasantries. Take a look.

The spirits couldn't have been as uplifted as the visitors suffered a crushing loss to India on the second day of the one-off Test itself.
India declared after setting up a mammoth total of 437 with Shikhar Dhawan and Murali Vijay's hundreds and KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya's half-centuries. (IND vs AFG MATCH HIGHLIGHTS)
Afghanistan came across painfully short of experience for the longest format and were bowled out for 109 and 103 in pursuit of India's first innings total of 474 all out on Friday. The hosts won by an innings and 262 runs at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru. (IND vs AFG SCORECARD)
The gulf in class was a reality but the Test match exposed their inability to understand the needs of the longest format. Their performance lends support to the demands for a two-tier Test format, which could get them battle-ready for future series.
