India’s spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin on Saturday extended Diwali greetings in his special way to Indian soldiers for safeguarding the country and protecting the common people from terror threats.
Joining PM Narendra Modi's initiative #Sandesh2Soldiers, R Ashwin is the latest icon to send out Diwali greetings to the Indian soldiers.
Ashwin took to his Twitter handle to extend his greetings. He posted a video along with a message: “Happy Diwali to the VVIP' S of our Country”.
Earlier, former India opener Virender Sehwag and India’s Test captain Virat Kohli posted video messages on their Twitter handle saluting the bravery of the Indian armed forces.
