Rajasthan Royals win by 7 wickets
* A thumping win for Rajasthan and they have kept themselves in the hunt with back-to-back wins. It can be termed as one of their better performances this season. Their bowling was right on the money after a poor start with everyone contributing equally. Chasing a target of 161, usually you need one good partnership and their new opening pair provided that. Rahane and Livingstone put together a 78-run stand and that nearly put the chase to bed. Agreed, there were a few stutters in between but Rajasthan never got under any kind of pressure. A word of praise for Sanju Samson also, who batted through and stayed unbeaten.
23.32 IST: Shakib Al Hasan to Sanju Samson, FOUR! Rajasthan win by 7 wickets and stay alive in the tournament! Shakib gets to bowl the final over and he delivers a short ball first up. Samson goes back and pulls it powerfully down to deep mid-wicket for the winning runs.
23.27 IST: Siddarth Kaul to Ashton Turner, In the air but safe. Back of a length ball outside off, Turner looks to pull but his bottom hand comes off the bat. It falls in no man's land and they get a single.
23.25 IST: Siddarth Kaul to Sanju Samson, Good length ball on middle, Sanju flicks it uppishly wide of long on and gets a couple.
23.20 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Ashton Turner, STOP THE PRESS! Turner is off the mark. Smiles all around. His teammates in the dugout are clapping. Haha! These little moments make cricket really entertaining. Full in length on middle, Turner flicks it behind square leg for a run.
23.18 IST: Khaleel Ahmed to Steven Smith, OUT! Smith departs and the crowd goes silent! Khaleel digs in a short ball on middle and off, Smith shuffles across the stumps to pull it across the line but it takes the top edge and flies down to fine leg. Kaul moves across to his left from fine leg and just about manages to hang on to the catch. Steven Smith is disappointed with himself as he returns to the pavilion. 14 needed off 20 balls.
23.15 IST: Khaleel Ahmed to Steven Smith, FOUR! A length delivery on middle, Smith shuffles across and deflects it fine down the leg side. Kaul makes a sliding stop near the fence and they take two. The umpire then goes upstairs to check and the replays find that Kaul made contact with the rope while getting rid of the ball. 50-run stand comes up!
23.10 IST: Khaleel Ahmed to Sanju Samson, FOUR! That's a rocket! Short in length around off, Samson stands back and pulls it with terrific timing over mid-wicket. Remarkable shot, says Sunil Gavaskar on air.
* Strategic break. 24 needed off 24 balls. A simple equation for Rajasthan but they should try to get the remaining runs in quick time so that their NRR improves a bit. Having said that, they should not take it too lightly also at this moment as we have seen teams losing matches from this point too. Can Hyderabad spring a surprise from here?
23.06 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar to Sanju Samson, Wide! Wrong line, sliding down the leg side, Samson misses out on the flick shot.
23.00 IST: Khaleel Ahmed to Steven Smith, FOUR! Poor delivery from Khaleel. It is down the leg side, these are easy pickings for Smith. He just helps it on his way towards fine leg for a boundary.

22.52 IST: Siddarth Kaul to Sanju Samson, FOUR! Kaul once again begins his over by conceding a boundary.
22.48 IST: Shakib Al Hasan to Steven Smith, FOUR! Stylish from Smith. Flighted on off, Smith comes down the track and flicks it over the square leg region and the ball goes to the fence. 100 comes up for Rajasthan with that stylish boundary from their skipper.

22.38 IST: Rashid Khan to Sanju Samson, Excellent delivery. Wrong 'un from Rashid. It is pitched outside off, Samson looks to drive but it goes between his bat and pad. Luckily for Samson the ball misses the off stump as well.
* Sanju Samson walks in next at number 3. 94 needed off 78 balls.
22.36 IST: Rashid Khan to Liam Livingstone, OUT! Rashid strikes and a brisk innings from the Englishman comes to an end. Just the wicket Hyderabad needed.

22.24 IST: Rashid Khan to Liam Livingstone, NOT OUT! No edge but the impact is outside off. Review lost for Rajasthan. A leg spinner landing full around off, Livingstone tries to play the paddle scoop by going down on one knee but misses and is hit on the back thigh. They appeal unsuccessfully. DRS is taken but as mentioned above, the impact was outside the line.
22.22 IST: Shout for an lbw! Not given. Rashid Khan has a chat with his skipper and then they decide to take the DRS. Our scorer over here is heard screaming that it came off the bat. Let's see...

* Exceptional bowling from Rajasthan in the second half to restrict Hyderabad to a par score. Although they didn't finish well as Varun Aaron conceded 18 runs in the final over. The touring team were going at a decent rate when the pair of Warner and Pandey were batting but then suddenly lost the plot. The Aussie played a very uncharacteristic knock which didn't feature a single boundary but Manish Pandey was in sublime touch as he stroked yet another half century.
21.41 IST: Varun Aaron to Rashid Khan, SIX! Rashid Khan finishes the innings with a biggie, first of the match! Aaron dishes out a slower one, it's on the shorter side outside off, Rashid picks it early and smashes it over mid off. The length is a bit on the shorter side around off, the Bangla star tries to pump it over wide long on but fails to connect well. Gopal moves across to his left from long on and makes no mistake this time. He throws the ball out in anguish after that. With this wicket, chances of Hyderabad going past 150 looks dicey.

He fails to collect it and the ball gets deflected to third man. The batsmen cross.
* Strategic break! Rajasthan are pulling things back nicely here. At one stage it looked like Hyderabad will get to 190 but the loss of Warner followed by the wicket of a well-set Manish Pandey just before the break has put Hyderabad on the back foot. The hosts will now look to make the most of it. Shakib Al Hasan is the new man in.21.09 IST: Shreyas Gopal to Manish Pandey, OUT! Brilliance from Sanju Samson! The crowd erupts, this is a timely breakthrough for Rajasthan as they have removed the danger man. A googly from Gopal. It lands around off and turns back in. Steven Smith immediately rushes across to his right from mid off and dives full length to take a one-handed ripper.
20.54 IST: Stuart Binny to Manish Pandey, Fifty for Pandey, his 14th in the League! It has come off 27 balls. Fullish and on middle, Manish forces it back to the bowler who misfields and deflects it towards covers. They cross for a single. Another fine knock by Manish, he is just continuing from where he left off in the previous match. A welcome sight for Hyderabad.
20.49 IST: Jaydev Unadkat to David Warner, A mishit! Unadkat continues to bowl off-pace deliveries, it's a bit short and on off, Warner is early into his attempted shot across the line but it takes the bottom edge and rolls behind to the keeper.

20.36 IST: Shreyas Gopal to Manish Pandey, FOUR! Finds the gap this time. A batsman of his class won't miss out often. Gopal once again is on the shorter side around off, Pandey uses the depth of his crease well and cuts it through the gap between point and short third man for a boundary.
* Strategic break! Steady going for Hyderabad after losing Williamson. Warner has adopted a cautious approach while Pandey once again is looking in sublime form. The tourists will want this pair to bat long as there isn't much promise shown by their middle order.

Sunrisers will surely miss the services of their destructive opener and Englishman Jonny Bairstow, who formed the most potent opening pairing alongside David Warner. (Full Match Preview)
