Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma's record-breaking spree continued against West Indies. On Monday, the stylish right-hander broke yet another record of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar when he overhauled the latter's tally of maximum sixes in One-Day International cricket. Rohit has now got onto the second spot just behind his teammate Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the list of most sixes hit by an Indian batsman in ODIs. Before getting out on 162 runs, the Mumbaikar took his tally of overall sixes in ODI cricket to 198.

Tendulkar cleared the boundary rope 195 times in 463 ODI matches during his career. While Dhoni tops the list with 218 sixes in just 331 matches.

Previously, in the first ODI of the series, Rohit made 152 runs to overtake Tendulkar and David Warner's tally of maximum 150's in this format.

In the fourth ODI, Rohit also became the second batsman to hit two 150+ scores in an ODI series. Zimbabwean Hamilton Masakadza is the first player to do so. He did it in 2009 vs Kenya.

Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi tops the overall list of batsmen to hit the maximum sixes in ODI cricket with 351 in 398 matches, behind him are left-handers Chris Gayle and Sanath Jayasuriya.

The Hitman missed his fourth double century and got out on 162 runs. He smashed 20 fours and four sixes in his destructive innings.
