Indian star spinner Ravindra Jadeja and his wife Reeva Solanki have landed themselves in a storm after the couple met with an accident and injured a girl named Preeti Sharma on Friday in their hometown in Jamnagar, Gujarat, say media reports.
The girl who got injured during the accident studies in Vidyasagar Institute in Jamnagar.
It was also reported that the 28-year-old player immediately took the girl to a hospital for treatment.
However, Jadeja and his wife were not injured in the incident.
Jadeja has been given a short but much-needed break from the ongoing three-match T20 Internationals series against England.
The rest will provide the spinner to freshen up before India take on Bangladesh and Australia in Tests next month.
Leg-spinner Amit Mishra and off-break bowler Parvez Rasool were picked as replacements.
