Wishes poured in from all over the world for ‘The Wall’ who for most of the part of last decade carried the Indian batting on his shoulder along with his teammates Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and Sourav Ganguly.

Leading the charge to wish Dravid on his birthday was his former team mate Virender Sehwag who has now become a sort of ‘Twitter celebrity’.

Sehwag, who was considered very close to Dravid in his playing days, also tweeted out a picture of him with former India captain and said, “He played in the V. But was the biggest C. Commitment, Class, Consistency, Care. Proud to have played together. Happy Birthday #RahulDravid.”

Other Indian cricketers including incumbent captain Virat Kohli also wished Dravid on his special day.
