History was created as Nepal played their maiden One Day International match and it was 22-year old pacer Sompal Kami who claimed Nepal's first ODI wicket against Netherlands on August 1 at the VRA Cricket Ground, Amstelveen.
On March 18, Nepal was awarded an ODI status by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Kami achieved this feat in the third over of the match after Netherlands won the toss and put Nepal to field. The pacer clean bowled opener Daniel ter Braak to claim his and Nepal's maiden ODI wicket. Watch.
