Pakistan pace sensation Mohammad Amir has termed former Australia captain Steve Smith "the most difficult batsman" to bowl to in the current era, while when he was asked about Virat Kohli, he said bowling to the Indian skipper is easier than "fatherhood".

The 26-year-old left-arm pacer tied the knot with British citizen Narjis Khan in September 2016 and was blessed with a baby girl in September last year. In comparison to fatherhood with bowling to Kohli, Amir was of the opinion that the former demands a lot of responsibility.

In a video interview to Cricinfo, when Amir was asked what is more difficult - fatherhood or bowling to Kohli? He replied: "Fatherhood, it demands a lot of responsibility."

While answering who is the most difficult batsman to bowl to in the current era, he took the name of Smith, who is currently serving a one-year ban from international cricket due to his involvement in the infamous match-fixing scandal in March this year.

The left-handed batsman, who has 702 Test runs to his name, mentioned Australian pacer Mitchell Starc when he was asked about one bowler you would want to face while batting.

From the past generation of cricketers, he picked up West Indies legend Brian Lara when he was asked about one player from the history he would like to bowl.

"Brain Lara. It would have been a dream come true. For me, he was the toughest batsman of that era," he said.

The spearhead, who has claimed 107 Test wickets for Pakistan in 33 matches, added that he wants to have three hat-tricks across all formats.

Meanwhile, Amir is a big fan of Bollywood as he has recently watched period drama film "Padmaavat" and wants Indian actor Shahid Kapoor to play his role in his biopic.
