Team India's explosive batsman Rishabh Pant took the cricketing nation by storm after he shared a glimpse of his personal life by introducing his girlfriend, Isha Negi on social media.

The Delhi youngster who is currently on a break from international cricket after a hectic Test series in Australia, shared a romantic post which has left fans in awe.

Rishabh took to Instagram and wrote,'"I just want to make you happy because you are the reason I am so happy."

Isha had also shared the same photograph on her account, giving the pic a romantic caption,'My man, my soulmate, my best friend, the love of my life.'

Take a look.

Pant has been a star in the making after his performances in the recently concluded Test series where India scripted history after 71 years. He was the second highest scorer after Cheteshwar Pujara, where he notched up his maiden Test century in Australia, his second overall.

Besides the hard-hitting, he was also in the headlines for his banter with Australia Test skipper Tim Paine.

He had also broken the record for the most catches by an Indian wicketkeeper in a Test series - 20 catches in the four-match series.

Pant could not find a place in the ODI squad with MS Dhoni resuming his role as the first-choice keeper for the New Zealand ODIs, but will return for the three-match T20I series which begins February 6.

Recently, Chairman of Selector MSK Prasad heaped huge praise on the young lad, calling him a 'champion in the making'.

After being "rested" for the ODI series against Australia and New Zealand, there have been conjectures about his place in the England-bound squad but Prasad set the record straight about selection committee's plans about talents such as Pant and Shubman Gill.

"Rishabh Pant played three T20s and four Test matches in Australia and that had an impact on his body. He needed complete rest for two weeks and then we will take a call on how many matches he will play against England Lions. Let me put it straight, he is very much in our World Cup plans. He is a champion player in the making and even he is not fully aware the kind of potential he has," Prasad told PTI.
