All-rounder Stuart Binny and his wife Mayanti Langer have often been subjected to vicious trolls on social media. The large amount of trolling even forced Binny to block people from posting comments on his Instagram profile. However, the hatred has never been able to penetrate the lovely relationship which both share.
Their love and affection for each other was once again on display during the ongoing edition of the Karnataka Premier League. Binny, who has playing for Belgavi Panthers, produced a brilliant performance with both bat and bowl to power his team to a 23-run win over Bengaluru Blasters on Friday.
The 33-year-old India all-rounder was at his devastating best with the bat, scoring 87 off just 46 balls, including 8 fours and 5 sixes. Binny then took two wickets for his team and was adjudged the Man of the Match.
However, more than Binny's performance on the field, the spectators loved his post-match interview with wife Langer, who is part of the Star Sports crew, the official broadcasters of the league.
Incidently, during the course of the interview, it was revealed that the day was their wedding anniversary, which made it even more special.
Binny would hope that the interview proves to be a lucky charm for him as he tries hard to get back into the Indian team. Binny last played for India in 2016 - a T20I against West Indies. So far, he has played six Tests, 14 ODIs and three T20Is for the national team.
