DC vs SRH, IPL 2019 Match 16:A comfortable win for the visitors in the end. They grab their third win of the season and go top of the table. The total was a moderate one, but the surface was always tricky. Though, Jonny Bairstow's fiery start put everything to bed. That set it up for the rest to come and made it easier for the batsmen to do their jobs. Some wickets fell at regular intervals, but Nabi came in and added the finishing touches to get his side over the line. (Click Here for IPL coverage in Hindi) (Match Scorecard)

Highlights, Match 16: Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets

23.19 IST: SIX! And that wins it for SRH! Sunrisers Hyderabad win by 5 wickets in New Delhi!

23.17 IST: FOUR! That might be the winning shot for SRH! Nabi has a crack goes the distance.

23.16 IST: FOUR! That's going to hurt him. Poor line, makes it all too easy for the Afghan. It's shorter and slower down leg, Nabi just helps it on its way past the diving keeper to the fine leg fence.

23.13 IST: Dot ball. Behind a good length, on middle stump, worked to the man in front of square leg. Just 3 off the over, a good one from Rabada. 16 needed in 18 for SRH to win.

23.11 IST: Rabada cranking up the heat here. 141 clicks, a cross seam delivery outside off and slightly short outside off, Pathan can't put bat on ball.

23.05 IST: OUT! How many times have we seen this today? Another reckless shot and another wicket. Unwanted, just unwanted. Hooda looks to be expansive. He dances down the track and then looks to slog it. Gets it nowhere near the middle and holes out. Rabada at deep mid-wicket accepts a dolly. Lamichhane removes Hooda for 10. Sunrisers Hyderabad 111/5 in 16 overs

23.04 IST: Hooda uses his feet but does not get to the pitch of the ball but hits it down to long on for a run. An excellent last over by Axar. Just the three runs and a wicket from it. He goes for 18 in his 4 overs and also took a wicket.

22.59 IST: OUT! Delhi hanging in there! Once again the bowling change does the trick. Iyer hangs onto one this time. The slowness of the track comes into play here. This is short and around off, it turns away. Shankar looks to go over covers but is way too early in the shot. The ball goes off the toe-end and just about carries to Iyer who takes it with a dive ahead. Sunrisers Hyderabad 101/4 in 14.3 overs

22.57 IST: DROPPED! The skipper drops a sitter. This could have been the chance of getting back in the game. Rahul bowls a tossed up ball on middle, Hooda shuffles across and drives it to covers.

* Deepak Hooda is the new man in.

22.54 IST: OUT! Straight to the man! Ishant Sharma strikes in his first over. Not sure though if Pandey needed to play this shot. He takes a few steps ahead and Ishant angles it into the batter. Manish whips it uppishly but hits it flat towards deep square leg. Shaw there takes a neat catch. 35 needed in 42. Ishant removes Manish for 10. Sunrisers Hyderabad 95/3 in 13 overs

22.49 IST: Down the leg side, Shankar looks to flick but misses. Wided. Can't give away such free runs when you do not have a lot to play with.

22.47 IST: Starts off with a slower ball but it is shorter in length, Pandey pulls it through square leg for a single.

22.44 IST: A misfield means another run! This is flatter and on middle, Shankar goes back and pushes it back to the bowler. He lets it through and a single taken. 6 singles in this over.

22.38 IST: FOUR! Driven and driven crisply. Morris continues bowling full, Shankar makes room and drives it uppishly over covers for a boundary. SRH 79/2 in 9.4 overs

22.29 IST: OUT! Warner is out of here now! Delhi has two in quick succession. Warner just never got going today and he persihes in the attempt to find the boundary. Rabada bowls it very full and on middle. Warner clears his front leg and looks to go over mid off. Since it is too full, he fails to get under it and hence does not get the elevation. It goes low towards mid off where Morris takes a good catch. Rabada removes Warner for 10. Sunrisers Hyderabad 68/2 in 8 overs

22.27 IST: Length ball pitching on leg, Warner plays it to the off side and goes for a quick run. Shankar responds well to the skipper's call.

* Vijay Shankar is the new man in.

22.22 IST: OUT!  Well... this is interesting. No bat involved at all. Jonny Bairstow is gone. Strange, with how quickly he signalled the 'T', it appeared that there would be some bat involved. Anyway, Tewatia strikes and breaks this partnership. And he's got the dangerous Bairstow too. Quite full on middle and leg, the Englishman looks to flick it away but fails to make connection. He's caught on the front pad, a loud appeal goes up and so does the finger. Tewatia removes Bairstow for 48. Sunrisers Hyderabad 63/1 in 6.5 overs

* Review time. Bairstow has been given out lbw but he's quickly taken the DRS, meaning that there must be some bat involved. Let's see now.

* Rahul Tewatia to roll his arm over.

22.15 IST: Educational edge! Lovely from Bairstow. The bowlers are just not sure where to bowl to him. This is on middle, JB plays it late and at the very end, opens the face of the bat. The ball goes off the outside edge and goes to the third man fence. Third in the over. SRH 61/0 in 5.5 overs

22.15 IST: FOUR! Perfect timing. Rabada bowls a full ball, Bairstow leans forward and drives it crisply through the covers for a boundary. SRH 57/0 in 5.4 overs

22.11 IST: FOUR! Good use of the feet. This is excellent batting from Jonny Bairstow. Skips down the track, gets close to the pitch and hammers it over the bowler's head for a boundary. SRH 46/0 in 4.3 overs

22.09 IST: FOUR BYES! Boundaries coming thick and fast for Hyderabad. This keeps super low again, Warner looks to hit it on the leg side. It goes under his bat, past the leg stump and the keeper. A boundary results.

22.07 IST: FOUR! SRH 32/0 in 3.4 overs

22.06 IST: FOUR! Another one. Bairstow is looking in fine touch here. He lofts it this time over mid on and the ball runs into the long on fence. SRH 28/0 in 3.2 overs

22.05 IST: FOUR! Starts off with a short ball pitching outside off, Bairstow was ready for it as he rocks back and pulls it hard into the deep mid-wicket fence. SRH 24/0 in 3.1 overs

22.03 IST: Not out! A poor review indeed. Lamichhane's too excited, Pant is a jittery character, Iyer isn't left with much choice. They might have needed that review later in the innings. It's flighted outside leg, the googly, it turns towards off a bit. Warner looks to work it on the leg side but is caught on the pads. Loud appeal goes up but the umpire rightly denies it. Sandeep is adamant he's got his man, Iyer as a result takes the DRS. Replays don't seem favourable for the hosts. They lose their only review.

22.05 IST: Review taken. It's for an lbw decision against David Warner. It looks to be pitching outside leg. Going to be a poor review, this...

22.00 IST: FOUR! Not in complete control, but it's enough to find the boundary line once more. Full and faster in pace around off, Bairstow drags the slog in front of square leg. Enough pace on it, it beats the man out in the deep.

21.59 IST: SIX! That's outta here! Times that beautifully. Tossed up right in the slot for Jonny Bairstow. He stays leg side, swings his bat and smokes it off the middle to clear long on with absolute ease.

21.57 IST: DROPPED! That was hit hard straight back but Axar drops it. He gives some flight to this one, Bairstow dances down the track and hits it straight back from where it came. Axar there gets both his hands on the ball but the ball bounces out of his hands and rolls behind him. Axar turns back to take it on a second attempt but is not able to gather it. Had he taken it, it would have been a big blow to Hyderabad and Delhi could have had an opening.

21.53 IST: FOUR! Bairstow gets off the mark in fine style. Gets low early to this tossed up ball and readies himself for the sweep. Brooms it through square leg and finds the fence. SRH 4/0 in 0.5 overs

21.50 IST: We are back for the chase. It will be the dynamite pair of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow to open the innings for Hyderabad. Sandeep Lamichhane to start the proceedings. Here we go...

21.39 IST: Delhi Capitals score 129/8 in 20 overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad in New Delhi. Iyer 43, Nabi 2/21, Bhuvneshwar 2/27

21.37 IST: SIX! BOOM! Axar finishes the innings with a bang! 14 from the last three balls and 14 from the last over. Excellent from the left-hander. Once again he waits for the slower ball and then tonks it over the bowler's head. It goes all the way. DELHI FINISH WITH 129!

21.36 IST: OUT! Rabada's drop does not count for a lot. Another slower does the trick for Hyderabad. It is outside off. Rabada looks to swing across the line but only manages a top edge. Kumar at short third man takes an easy catch.

21.32 IST: FOUR! Ends the over with a boundary, a much-needed one. Room on offer and Patel pounces on it. He smashes it through covers and it races away. DC 115/7 in 18.5 overs

21.31 IST: OUT! Another easy catch and the dangerous Morris is walking back. Once again it is the line wide outside off. Morris looks to go over covers. It is the slower one though. It hits the toe-end and lobs towards covers where Nabi takes it easily. DC 107/7 in 18.3 overs

21.28 IST: Another dot! Not good this from Axar, he needs to give the strike over to Morris if he is not hitting the boundaries. Length and outside off. Patel looks to get bat on ball but misses.

21.25 IST: SIX! Morris goes big! Delhi finally reach the 100 run mark! Morris has picked the bones out of that one. This time he waits for the slower ball and then pulls it over the mid-wicket fence. Need a few more do the hosts. DC 103/6 in 17.2 overs

21.21 IST: OUT! There goes the skipper and probably Delhi's hope to get to somewhere close to 140. Rashid Khan gets his first in his final over and it is of the well-set batsman. He bowls the googly, Iyer may have picked it as he looks to go with the turn with a slog sweep. The ball though does not bounce a lot, sneaks under the bat and hits the off pole. Khan is up and running in celebration. Rashid removes Shreyas for 43. Delhi Capitals 93/6 in 16.1 overs

21.18 IST: Fuller length delivery on off, Iyer goes for a drive but gets and inside edge onto the short third man region for a single.

* Bhuvneshwar Kumar is back on.

21.14 IST: FOUR! Bang! Straight down the ground! A little too full on middle, Shreyas smacks it straight past the bowler. No fielder there and it is a boundary. DC 85/5 in 14.5 overs

21.12 IST: NOT OUT! That is missing the off pole! Hyderabad lose their only review. A poor one to be honest, that never looked out. The leg spinner from Rashid Khan. It pitches on off. Morris has no idea which way the ball is turning and hence goes for the sweep shot again. He misses and the ball hits the back pad. An appeal follows but the umpire shakes his head.

* Another review from Hyderabad. Rashid this time feels he has got his man. The umpire does not agree. Seems to be missing off.

21.09 IST: FOUR! Excellent shot. A very nice way to get off the mark. It is short and outside off, Morris cuts it late through point and for a boundary. DC 79/5 in 13.5 overs

21.06 IST: OUT! What a catch to dismiss Ingram! Manish Pandey is the fielder. Ingram will feel hard-done there but he has to walk back. Not such a great delivery, it is short and outside off. Ingram cuts it nicely but uppishly towards point. Pandey there moves swiftly to his left and takes it inches above the ground with a dive. Delhi now have half their side back in the hut. Into the bowling all-rounders are Hyderabad now. 130 seems farfetched now. Everything depends on the skipper. Delhi Capitals 75/5 in 13.3 overs

21.02 IST: A fuller length on off, Shreyas was looking to work it towards the mid-wicket but closes his bat early and gets leading edge towards the short third man region. Single taken.

20.59 IST: FOUR! Slightly short and Iyer is onto it quickly. He rocks back and pulls it over the mid-wicket fielder. No one in the deep so a boundary. Much-needed one. DC 70/4 in 12.3 overs

20.56 IST: Full on off, Ingram drives it to the cover fielder. Another excellent over, just the 5 runs and a wicket from it.

* Colin Ingram to bat next.

20.53 IST: OUT! Another one bites the dust! Sandeep Sharma gets his first. The slower ball completely does Tewatia in. The ploy to send him up the order has failed. It is pitched on off, Rahul is way too early in the drive. He then looks to checks his shot. The ball though hits the bat and lobs towards the cover region. Nabi runs to his right and takes a sitter. Delhi slip further. Delhi Capitals 61/4 in 10.5 overs

20.50 IST: FOUR! Superb timing on that. It's full and outside off, Tewatia leans into the drive and creams it through the gap in the covers to find the fence. DC 61/3 in 10.2 overs

20.48 IST: Has Nabi got another? He feels so but the umpire does not. They have gone for the review. Looks very close.

20.44 IST: OUT! Pant is out here and there is pin-drop silence in the stadium here. He has literally thrown it away. That shot was just not needed at the moment. Delhi needed him to continue batting. Very reckless from Rishabh. Nabi however, is delighted. He strikes on the very first ball of his final over. Excellent bowling change. Nabi removes Pant for 5. Delhi Capitals 52/3 in 9.1 overs

20.41 IST: Just plants his front foot across and then works it through mid-wicket. Once again the batters take the first one quickly but there is only one available. Just the five from Sandeep's first.

20.39 IST: That just does not bounce! Another slower one outside off, Pant looks to hit it over covers but the ball sneaks under the bat.

20.38 IST: On the off pole, Pant manages to work it through square leg but only for a single. Three singles in the over so far.

20.36 IST: A back of a length delivery on middle, Shreyas flicks it towards the mid-wicket region. Takes a first run quickly and at same time calls for the double. That is very good running.

* Sandeep is brought in

20.32 IST: FOUR! Shreyas has a crack and sails for a boundary. A freebie to begin with. A full toss and Iyer says thank you very much. He strokes it through covers and the ball races away. DC 45/2 in 7.1 overs

* Rashid Khan is introduced

20.29 IST: Fuller length delivery on off, Pant drives it past the bowler. Warner at mid off gives a great dives to his right and saves a certain boundary.

Rishabh Pant is the new man in.

20.26 IST: OUT! In the air... taken! Delhi have lost Dhawan on the last ball of the Powerplay. A big wicket this for the visitors. Nabi slows this one up and lands it on middle. This one bounces a touch extra. Dhawan looks to sweep but the ball takes the top edge and lobs towards short fine leg where Sandeep Sharma accepts a dolly. Both the openers are back in the hut and with that wicket, the Powerplay also belongs to Hyderabad. Delhi are 36 for 2 after it. Nabi removes Dhawan for 12. Delhi Capitals 36/2 in 6 overs

20.23 IST: FOUR! Dhawan hits his first boundary. Brilliant sweep by Gabbar. DC 32/1 in 5.2 overs

20.19 IST: SIX! And that's the first maximum of the match! Right in Shreyas' arc and he has hit it out of the ground. On the pads, it is fuller in length. Iyer lofts it over the mid-wicket fence. First of the game. DC 26/1 in 4.3 overs

20.16 IST: This is fired on the pads, Dhawan looks to work it on the leg side but misses. The ball brushes his pads and rolls towards short fine leg. A leg bye taken.

20.15 IST: Good amount of turn there again! This is pitched on off and it comes back in. Iyer looks to work it on the leg side but misses to get hit on the pads.

20.13 IST: A back of a length on off, Iyer taps it to point region for a single.

* Shreyas Iyer walks out to the middle.

20.10 IST: OUT! The off stump goes for a walk! Bhuvneshwar Kumar strikes and he is pumped up. The slight change in grip does the trick for him. However, the shot by Shaw can be questioned here. It is on a length and around off, does not bounce as much as Prithvi expected it to. He looks to hit it through mid-wicket but misses.  Bhuvneshwar removes Shaw for 11. Delhi Capitals 14/1 in 2.2 overs

20.07 IST: Nabi to Shaw: Pitches this one outside off, it turns back in. Shaw waits for it and then guides it to short third man for a run.

20.06 IST: Slower through the air on middle, Dhawan looks to defend but ends up playing outside the line. The ball goes off the inner half towards short fine leg for a run.

* Mohammad Nabi to bowl from the other end.

20.03 IST: EDGED AND FOUR! Shaw won't care though. Second boundary in the over. Hint of shape there for Kumar. It is on off, Shaw looks to drive it down the ground but due to the outswing, it flies off the outside edge to the third man fence. DC 8/0 in 0.5 overs

20.02 IST: That one stays low! On the shorter side and outside off, not a lot of width on offer there. Shaw still goes for a cut but misses.

20.00 IST: FOUR! The first ball of the match and goes for a boundary! Shaw is off the mark in style. Not a very bad delivery that, slightly behind the fuller length on off, Shaw waits for it and then places it in the gap in the cover region and the ball races to the fence.  DC 4/0 in 4.1 overs

19.58 IST: We are all set for the action to begin! The Delhi openers, Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw make their way out to the middle.

19.50 IST: And we're all set for today's clash at Kotla! DC vs SRH! Who are you backing in today's clash? The battle of the Blues vs Orange commences in just a few minutes.

19.40 IST: Shreyas Iyer says they also wanted to bowl first. Mentions that the wicket looks very dry and he hopes it worsens as the game progresses. Informs that Axar Patel, Rahul Tewatia and Ishant Sharma are in for Avesh Khan, Harshal Patel and Hanuma Vihari.

19.37 IST: Bhuvneshwar Kumar says that they want to bowl first. Mentions that it is a dry wicket but then he is more happy to chase. States that the dew might play a factor later on. Informs that they are unchanged.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Match 16 of the Indian Premier League as Delhi Capitals host Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in New Delhi. The TOSS will take place at 7.30 PM IST while play will commence from 8.00 PM IST.

Brief Report: In a format like the Indian Premier League, momentum plays an important role. While a team on a roll can make the impossible look regular, teams which haven't managed to hit the right note can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Going into match 16 of the league, while Sunrisers Hyderabad are definitely on a roll, Delhi Capitals need to buck up. They have had a change in name, but Delhi Capitals' fortunes have been topsy-turvy as ever. Having started off in style against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium, DC lost to Chennai at home, sneaked a win in the Super Over against Kolkata and then lost again to Kings XI Punjab in a game that was almost sealed.
