Highlights, England vs Australia, 4th Test Day 2: With just 44 overs bowled on the opening day, this has become almost like a 4-day Test. Australia will look to Smith to bat for long and bat once. The problem is their soft underbelly of a middle-order and it needs to fire sooner rather than later. After day one, it's advantage Australia on a start-stop day. They lost their openers pretty quickly on a surface which had some juice in the opening hour but then the master and his accomplice got to work. Their 116-run stand put England on the back foot and at one stage, the run rate was touching 4, which prompted Root to bring on Leach to stall the run flow. Did not make too much of a difference as the run rate has not gone down too much.
