Seasoned India fast bowler Jhulan Goswami added yet another feather to her already decorated cap when she became the first women cricketer to take 200 ODI wickets.
Jhulan reached the milestone in the second ODI of the three-match series against South Africa at Kimberley on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old lanky Bengal pacer, nicknamed Babul, surpassed Cathryn Fitzpatrick to become the highest wicket-taker in women's ODI history in May, 2017.
One of the senior-most women cricketer around, Jhulan played a key role in India reaching to the final of the ICC Women's World Cup last year, where they lost to England in the final.
In 2015, Jhulan was one of the four senior players who were given the highest grade of central contracts by the Board of Control for Cricket in India for the first time.
