Indian cricket fans know who Irfan Pathan is and what his contribution towards the country has been which needs no description, on the other side there is Irrfan Khan, who is one of Bollywood's most versatile actors where he recently won a Filmfare award for the best male actor (popular) for the film 'Hindi Medium'.
Here's where the two different personalities were mistaken. A leading entertainment magazine had tagged cricketer Irfan Pathan instead of actor Irrfan Khan in their post and it wasn't too late before Twitterati took notice.
The trolls poured in but it was the bowler who ensured to leave behind a witty reply for the post he was tagged in. Pathan wrote in reply 'Thank u n sorry I couldn't make it but u can send the award to me at my home ;);)'.
No sooner than later his response made the day of all the trollers sitting on Twitter.
The 33-year old player was dropped after two Ranji Trophy matches this season despite being named Baroda captain and mentor in the current season. The spearhead was also not selected for the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament as he opted for another domestic team. Pathan has sought a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from Baroda, a team which he has represented for 17 years.
