Team India thrashed hosts Sri Lanka in the first Test in Galle by 304 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. India is scheduled to play three Tests, five ODIs and one-off T20I against the Lankan Lions in over a month-long tour. Virat Kohli’s men managed to wrap the first Test against the Islanders with a day to spare courtesy their clinical all-round performance in the field.

The Indian team members decided to use this downtime for some leisure activities and indulged in some off-field fun which helps them to unwind perfectly amidst their tight schedule.

Leading with an example, skipper Virat Kohli took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share his pictures alongside his teammate KL Rahul relaxing by the pool. Rahul had missed the Galle Test due to the flu but seemed in good spirits despite not being part of the playing XI.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma too posted a photograph on Twitter showing the Indian team members Shikhar Dhawan, Cheteshwar Pujara, Wriddhiman Saha and KL Rahul among those enjoying an intense FIFA session.

Playing like a world number one side – Team India strictly went about the business on all four days of the first Test. With this win, Kohli and Co. have consolidated their position as top ranked cricket team in the world.

For India, Cheteshwar Pujara and Shikhar Dhawan slammed centuries in the first innings, whereas, captain Kohli scored a ton in the second innings that helped India to post a mammoth 550-run target. This was India's biggest overseas win (in terms of runs) surpassing 279 run-victory against England at Leeds in 1986.

India will take on Sri Lanka in the second Test which starts August 3 at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo.
