Winning runs, as usual, came from captain MS Dhoni's bat in the last over.
India, after a brisk start in their 161-run chase against Australia, lost Shikhar Dhawan (13 off 12 balls) and Rohit Sharma (12 off 17 balls). Suresh Raina soon followed the openers as he departed for 10 off 7 balls.

Aussie openers Usman Khawaja and Aaron Finch smashed Indian bowlers in the power-play overs. Khawaja's three consecutive boundaries to Jasprit Bumrah ensured a solid start for the Kangaroos.
