Former India captain and IndiaTV's cricket expert Sourav Ganguly today while praising team India for the stupendous victory in Melbourne expressed hope that Virat Kohli and Co. will make sure that they win the series in Sydney.

On IndiaTV's show 'Cricket Ki Baat' Ganguly said, "The team still has unfinished business in Australia. This is not the time to rest on their laurels. They should make sure that once the Sydney Test is over, they retain the series with either a 2-1 or 3-1 lead."

When asked about the superlative performance of bowler Jasprit Bumrah in Australia, Ganguly termed him an exceptional talent.

"There is no doubt that he is an exceptional talent. But I saw news of him being rested keeping in mind the World Cup. I don't think that should be followed in its entirety. He is not a Kapil Dev who played 125 Tests. He is young and raring to go. So we3 should definitely play him against New Zealand at least as they are a strong side, unlike the current hosts. And I'm not sure that Mumbai Indians would be willing to rest him at the marquee tournament," said Dada.

The 113-Test veteran also joked about the Australian batting saying that the hosts' inability to bat for longer periods is glaring and it has come to the level where they must be fearing the Indian attack even in their dreams.

"The current batting lineup of Australia sans David Warner and Steven Smith is still born and brought up in the country and hence is in no ways weak. But it's ironic that they are failing as a unit for quite some time now. Usman Khawaja has been found out by the Indian attack to the extent that even if he is asleep, Ravi Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja can dismiss him in his dreams," quipped Ganguly.

Virat Kohli on Sunday equalled former skipper Sourav Ganguly's feat of most overseas Test victories as India captain. The massive 137-run win against Australia at the MCG was Kohli's 11th away Test victory, making him the joint-most successful Indian Test captain in overseas conditions.

Kohli achieved the feat in just 24 Tests as compared to Ganguly, who recorded 11 away wins in 28 Test matches as captain.

The 30-year-old also became the first Indian captain to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia while his team became the first Indian team to win a Boxing Day Test Down Under.
