The Aussies clearly have their backs to the wall and will need a record chase at this venue to fulfill their dreams of a Test series win in England since 2001. The pitch is offering good assistance to the bowlers, mainly the spinners and the rough created on the surface will help Jack Leach later on. But this is something to look forward to after England's second innings batting closes.
