Chris Woakes becomes 10th player to script his name on Lord's Honour Boards in batting and bowling

Coming in on the sixth wicket, Woakes and Bairstow tore apart the Indian bowling unit with their 189-run partnership, with the pacer going on to score his maiden Test century.

England's bowling all-rounder, Chris Woakes, scripted his name on the Lord's Honour Boards as he scored his maiden Test century against India on Day 3 of the 2nd Test at the iconic stadium, Lord's. He joins an elite club as he becomes the 10th player to have his name in the batting and bowling ranks. 

Waokes, orchestrated England's proceedings with his maiden ton, scripting his name on the batting list. Woakes also has a ten-wicket haul at Lord's as well. He joins Gubby Allen, Keith Miller, Ian Botham and present teammate Stuart Broad. On the list of a hundred and a five-wicket haul, he joins Andrew Flintoff, Ray Illingworth, Ben Stokes and Vinoo Mankad.

Unfortunately, Jonny Bairstow departed on a valiant 93, after he was dismissed by Hardik Pandya. 

Woakes, who is still on strike (120), helped the hosts lead the way when the match seemed to have slipped away after the visitor's claimed four wickets before Lunch. 

The bowling all-rounder is still on strike with youngster Sam Curran, as bad lights brought day 3 to an end as England were on 357/6 in 81 overs, leading by 250 runs.
