Team India openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan scored their respective tons to demolish their arch-rivals Pakistan in the Super Four clash in the ongoing 2018 Asia Cup and former cricketers just can't stop drooling over the fact that India registered their biggest win in terms of number of wickets lost in ODI cricket against their neighbours. It was a clean, clinical and a professional performance by the openers as Dhawan went on to score his 15th ODI ton, whereas for the stand-in skipper, he notched up his 19th ODI hundred and also reached 7000 ODI runs. (IND vs PAK Scorecard)

They also engineered a 210-run opening partnership, setting a new record against their rivals in ODI cricket.

While India celebrate for making is 2-0 against Pakistan in the two clashes so far, former Indian cricketers could not be any more happier and as always, it's the Master Blaster himself who lead from the front to heave praises on the duo.

Tendulkar wrote,'Congratulations on your 100s @ImRo45 and @SDhawan25. Such clean hitting! Always a joy to watch you both in full flow. #INDvPAK'

Indian team captain Virat Kohli, who has been rested from the tournament, also took to Twitter to laud his 'boys'.

Other former cricketers took to Twitter as well.

Chasing a target of 238, Rohit (111 no off 119 balls) and Dhawan (114 off 100 balls) flayed the Pakistan attack adding 210 runs for the opening stand to seal their second lopsided victory in the tournament in only 39.3 overs.

One of the most fearsome opening pairs in ODI format, Rohit-Dhawan combination were helped by some ordinary bowling from Pakistan with equally sloppy fielding compounding their woes.

The Men in Blue will now face a vulnerable Afghanistan team, who lost the Match 4 of the Super Four clash against Bangladesh, who they had beaten in the group stage. A win for India will book their place in the finals of the 2018 Asia Cup.
