Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat against Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led India in the final match of the Super Four stage at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium here on Tuesday. Dhoni is completing a remarkable achievement: Captaining India for the 200th time! He is now also the oldest ODI captain of India leaving behind Mohammad Azharuddin.
No wonder when the decision to quit ODI captaincy was announced in early January 2017, his fans were less surprised. It didn't matter that he had a chance to captain India in 200 ODIs.
