Armaan Jaffer, who is the nephew of Mumbai stalwart Wasim Jaffer, has hammered an unbeaten triple hundred for his state team in the CK Nayudu Trophy.
Jaffer scored an unbeaten 300 from 367 balls against Saurashtra in the zonal tournament held for U-23 cricketers.
Coming into bat at No.3, Armaan displayed great patience and steered Mumbai from a precarious position of 12/2 by adding 281 runs for the third wicket with Rudra Dhanday, who also scored 166 runs.
Armaan struck 26 fours and 10 sixes during his mammoth knock at the Wankhede Stadium.
Mumbai's declaration came soon after Jaffer's triple ton. Jaffer has so far played three Ranji Trophy matches.
