"These reports are baseless... all rubbish," Sehwag told IndiaTV.
Sehwag's rebuttal has come after Preity Zinta took to social media to slam reports of her approaching KXIP mentor and blasting him after their loss to Rajasthan Royals on May 8 in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2018.
Earlier on Friday, a report in the Mumbai Mirror suggested that Sehwag was at "the receiving end of a vitriolic verbal barrage from Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta after the Kings failed to chase a modest target of 158 against Rajasthan Royals".
According to the Mumbai Mirror report, Preity also questioned Sehwag about the 'tactics' used during the game.
Sehwag has been with the KXIP from 2017 and works as a mentor. Sehwag played a key role in building the KXIP squad at the 2018 IPL players Auction.
With 6 wins in 10 matches, Kings XI Punjab are currently placed on third spot in the IPL 2018 Points Table.
