After scoring his 38th ODI century that eventually went in vain, India skipper Virat Kohli on Saturday shared an adorable picture with his wife Anushka Sharma on the occasion of Karvachauth.
"My life. My universe. ❤❤ Karvachauth," Kohli captioned the picture on Instagram.
Bollywood actress Anushka also wished Kohli, sharing a pleasing picture with the Karvachauth moon in the background.
"My moon, my sun, my star, my everything. Happy karva chauth to all," she said on Instagram.
Kohli's ton went in vain as a disciplined West Indies came back strongly to win the third ODI by 43 runs at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.
Chasing a healthy 284, India looked on course with Kohli belting an excellent 107 off 119 balls, his third consecutive century of the series, and opener Shikhar Dhawan scoring 35 before a middle order collapse, coupled with some disciplined bowling bundled the hosts out for 240 in 47.4 overs.
For the Windies, veteran all-rounder Marlon Samuels turned out to be wrecker-in-chief, with his off-spinners, returning figures of 3/12 while skipper Jason Holder, Obed McCoy and Ashley Nurse picked two wickets each.
Kohli became the first Indian and 10th overall to score three consecutive centuries in the One-day format but it could not prevent the West Indies from tasting their first win of the tour.
Apart from Kohli, India spinner Harbhajan Singh also shared glimpse of Karvachauth celebration with his wife Geeta Basra.
"Happy karvachauth biwi ❤❤," he captioned the picture on Instagram.
Suresh Raina also celebrated Karvachauth with his wife Priyanka Chaudhary.
