Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took the Australian batsmen for a ride in Melbourne as the leggie broke a few illustrious records during the 3rd ODI in Melbourne and also set a career-best figure in ODI cricket.
Chahal grabbed his first opportunity in the series with both hands, taking a career-best 6 for 42 to decimate Australia for a paltry 230 in the third and final ODI on Friday.
In doing so, he also improved on his previous best of 5-22 against South Africa at Centurion in January 2018.
Chahal also now has the best record by an Indian in Australia, overtaking players such as Ajit Agarkar and Ravi Shastri.
