Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023: Stone pelting has been reported in Rajasthan's Sikar district in Bochiwal Bhawan, Fatehpur Shekhawati regions between two groups as polling for the Assembly election is underway in the state. A heavy police force has been deployed in the affected region.
A police personnel has sustained head injuries in the clashes. According to reports, the clash took place between supporters of Congress candidate Hakam Ali Khan and independent Madhusudan Bhinda.
There was a dispute between two parties regarding fake voting at Bochiwal Bhawan polling booth. The argument escalated so much that stone pelting took place between the two parties for about half an hour. Police officials in Sikar including Deputy SP Rampratap Vishnai reached the spot.
During the clashes, a constable named Rakesh received head injuries. The cops later tried to calm down the situation and several people were detained.
Polling in all 200 Assembly seats in Rajasthan have concluded and results will be declared on December 3.
