Rajasthan Bypoll Election Results: The vote counting for the bypolls to seven Assembly seats in Rajasthan concluded. Out of the seven seats, BJP managed to win five, while COngress and BAP clinched one seat each.
Rajasthan Bypoll Results 2024 Live: The vote counting for the by-polls to seven Assembly seats in Rajasthan began today, November 23 at 8 am. Congress and BJP were major opponents in this state elections. However, Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP) managed to clinch one seat. On November 13, the constituencies that went on by-polls are, constituencies —Jhunjhunu, Ramgarh, Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, Khinwsar, Salumber and Chorasi. Among the key contestants in the fray were Revant Ram Danga, Kanika Chaudhary, Rajendra Bhamboo, and Amit Ola, among others. Check out all the highlights from all the seven by-poll seats.

Dausa seat goes into Congress' kitty
After 18 rounds of counting, the Congress party managed to clinch the Dausa constituency. Deen Dayal of the Congress party won the seat with a margin of just 2,300 votes and got 75,536 votes in total.

BJP wins four seats, in close contest with Congress in Dausa
As per the ECI website, the BJP has clinched Jhunjhunu, Deoli-Uniara, Khinwsar, Salumber and Chorasi seats. Not only this, BJP is also leading in the Ramgarh constituency and giving a tough fight to Congress in Dausa.

Close fight between BJP, Congress and BAP on three seats
As per the ECI website, BJP candidates Sukhavant Singh and Deen Dayal from Ramgarh and Dausa constituency are facing tough competition from Congress candidates. In the Ramgarh seat, Sukhavant is leading with just 4,752 votes while in the Dausa seat, Deen Dayal is ahead of his opponent, Jag Mohan, by just 2,300 votes.
On the other hand, in the Salumber constituency, BJP's Shanta Amrit Lal Meena is leading with just 1,057 votes against BAP's Jitesh Kumar Katara.

After 12 rounds of counting, BJP's Sukhavant Singh has taken a marginal lead against Congress' Aryaan Zubair. Sukhavant is currently leading with 57,229 votes and Aryaan is trailing by 1,570 votes.

Contest on Ramgarh and Salumbar seats
Ramgarh and Salumbar seats fell vacant after sitting MLAs, Congress party's Zubair Khan on Ramgarh and BJP's Amrit Lal, passed away. In the Jhunjhunu seat, there was a direct contest between BJP's Rajendra Bhamboo and Congress' Amit Ola, son of Brijendra Ola, who vacated the seat after being elected as an MP in the General Elections earlier this year.
