New Delhi, Jan 17: Abhay Singh Chautala, son of former Haryana CM Om Prakash Chautala, is trying to put a brave face after the SC convicted 55 people including Ajay Chautala and his father in the recruitment of over 3000 junior basic trained (JBT) teachers in the state when INLD was in power.
“I'll study the specific charges and then decide on the next course of action. It's not a corruption case and we didn't do any wrong thing and we are not guilty,” said Abhay Chautala.
"There are higher courts where such cases can be appealed. We will certainly go to High Court and if required we'll go to the Supreme Court. The Congress is misusing the CBI," added Abhay.
The court has fixed January 17, 19 and 21 for hearing the arguments on sentence. The court has fixed January 22 for pronouncing the quantum of sentence.
