What Kejriwal wrote in his letters to Sonia Gandhi, Rajnath Singh

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal has written letters to the Congress President Sonia Gandhi and BJP president Rajnath Singh seeking their support for the  Jan Lok Pal draft bill. This is what

"Shrimati Sonia Gandhi ji,

Congress Party has offered unconditional support to Aam Aadmi Party to form a government in Delhi, but our party never sought your support.

Aam Aadmi Party was born because of corrupt, criminal and communal politics of parties like the BJP and Congress. When the common people of India groaned under corruption, the aam aadmi decided to form its own party and raised its voice.  In such a situation, how can the Aam Aadmi Party join hands with parties like the BJP and Congress?

Since your party has said, it is ready to give unconditional support, the people of India wants to know what it means?

The people of Delhi is suffering from some burning issues. In 15 years of rule, the Congress government instead of solving the issues of the common people, aggravated their problems. During sever years of its rule in Municipal Corporation, the BJP looted in abandon. In such a situation, what will be the views of your party on issues based on which you are offering support?

Today, politics has become a tool for grabbing power. In order to acquire power, the parties are ready to do anything. Every party wants to grab power by hook or by crook. Nobody has anything to do with people's issues. We have not come to politics to grab power. We are the aam aadmi, we are very small people, we are groaning under corruption and pricerise. We the people want solution to our problems.

I am attaching some issues alongwith this letter. I hope your party would clear its stand on each of these issues Since our party is based on honesty and transparency, I am placing this letter before the people. Whatever reply you give will also be placed before the people and then we will ask the people what Aam Aadmi Party should do in the light of your reply?

And yes. Please clarify your stand on each issue. Please do not obfuscate, like saying "we agree with you in principle", or "when the issue will come before the House, we will clear out stand", etc.

I will be awaiting your reply.

Arvind Kejriwal"
