New Delhi: The touch of royalty comes at the very first look of Vasundhra Raje, born as a princess in the House of Gwalior. Born in the royal family of his highness Jivaji Rao Scindia,

Vasundhara developed a relation with the state of Rajasthan only after she tied a knot with the ruler of Dholpur, Maharaja Hemant Singh.

In 1984, Vasundhara entered mainstream politics and joined the national working committee of BJP. She was the vice president of State BJP Yuva Morcha for two years (1984-86).
