New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah's son Jay is getting married to Hrishita Patel in Gandhinagar on February 10, the day result of Delhi Assembly polls will be announced.
It is speculated that BJP's top echelons will descend in the city to attend the wedding ceremony -- meaning no top leader will be present in the capital as it happened on July 13, 2014 when Jay and Hrishita got engaged.
Apart from BJP bigwigs, Sangh Parivar leaders and top businessmen will be in attendance.
All luxury hotels in Ahmedabad are fully booked for Shah's VIP guests. As of now, reports stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and every top politician will be attending the wedding event. Modi had skipped the engagement ceremony as he was in Brazil in July to attend the BRICS Summit.
The wedding rituals will be held at the famous Karnavati Club in Ahmedabad whereas reception will be organised in New Delhi on February 15.
The wedding reception is likely to be attended by as many as 3,000 guests.
Shah's son Jay is one of the three joint secretaries of the Gujarat Cricket Association.
