Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said that those found "guilty of indulging" in unlawful activities during the Jat agitation for quota in the state will not be spared and strict action will be taken against them.

“Nobody would be spared if found guilty in the Jat quota agitation that caused loss of innocent lives and property”, Mr Khattar told reporters after inaugurating a blood donation camp.

On investigation by a retired Director General of Police into the incidents during the agitation, the chief minister said that he started his probe today.

Mr Khattar said Haryana legislators and government officials today donated their blood to spread the message of brotherhood and amity after the "unfortunate" Jat agitation.

He said a series of programmes, including sporting and cultural events, will be organised for "unity and harmony".

As many as 64 persons donated their blood in the camp.
