The BSP supremo said that Congress did no development and in the UPA's 10 years' rule and only corruption cases came before the people.
She alleged that due to wrong policies of Congress, Dalits were harassed and as a result they took wrong path, saying instead of reforming them through development, emphasis was given on arrest and killing as a result they became Naxals.
“When BSP was in government in Uttar Pradesh, it had launched a special campaign to bring Naxals in the mainstream of the society,” Mayawati said.
The BSP supremo said that Uttar Pradesh gave several Prime Ministers, but it was most backward today, because Congress governments framed all the policies to benefit capitalists and not to resolve the problems of ‘sarvsamaj' (all sections of the society).
She claimed that only the BSP was the well-wisher of the ‘sarvsamaj' and could protect its interests.
