New Delhi: The Supreme Court today ordered Snoopgate petitioner to delete scandalous allegations against Narendra Modi which accused him of instructing police to illegally spy on a woman.
Pradeep Sharma, a suspended bureaucrat from Gujarat filed a petition against Modi while he was the Chief Minister.
The Supreme Court says that Sharma is illegitimately linking four criminal cases filed against him in Gujarat to what he describes as insider knowledge of how a young woman architect was spied upon, allegedly on the instructions of Narendra Modi.
Judges said that they are dissatisfied with the modifications made by Sharma after they first ordered him in May 2011 to delete paragraphs that are "scurrilous" in their remarks against Narendra Modi.
