Mumbai: In a bid to lure young voters, the Shiv Sena has promised to train students for prestigious examinations like IAS and IPS if the party makes a comeback to power in Maharashra.
The party plans to train the students for these exams through video conferencing
Making this announcement, Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said that the party would gift tabs and SD cards to students to in order to reduce the burden of heavy bags. He also said that classes would be made Hi-tech so that students could use tabs.
The party has pledged to train 500 students annually for IAS, IPS exams.
Maharashtra is set for Assembly polls later this year. Political temperature is rising up in the state with parties promising a number of things to woo voters.
