Meerut: BSP supremo Mayawati today lashed out at Mulayam Singh Yadav's Samajwadi party for working hand in glove with the BJP in instigating communal riots in Saharanpur that left three people dead.
“Both BJP and SP are responsible for communal violence in UP,” said Mayawati.
“This ‘dange' party (SP) tops the list of violence instigators along with BJP,” added Mayawati.
The communal riots in Saharanpur had led to a loss of property worth Rs 244 crore in the city.
BSP supremo Mayawati has once again reiterated her party's decision of not contesting upcoming by-elections for 12 assembly seats.
Mayawati condemned Pakistan for ceasefire violation at the LoC but said that the govt must hold talks with Pakistan.
“This has happened before and it is not right. I condemn such attacks on the Indian army. The government must hold talks with Pakistan to establish peace," said Mayawati.
