New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha was Thursday adjourned for 15 minutes Thursday following a ruckus over 100 percent FDI in railways as well as the CSAT row.
As the house met for question hour, MPs from parties like Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Samajwadi Party (SP), Left and the Congress demanded a debate on both the issues.
They kept reiterating their demand despite repeated requests by Chairman Hamid Ansari not to disrupt the proceedings of the house.
As the MPs refused to budge, Ansari adjourned the house for 15 minutes.
