New Delhi: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will soon be discharged from a hospital where he was admitted after he complained of pain in his abdomen, an official said Thursday.
"It was a routine admission and tests have been conducted. He will be discharged very soon," an official told IANS.
The minister was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here Wednesday evening after he complained of pain in his abdomen.
The official added Rajnath Singh will be discharged as he has to attend parliament.
The absence of Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Minister of State Kiren Rijiju Wednesday led to the adjournment of the Lok Sabha when a special discussion on growing communal incidents was taken up.
The discussion was initiated by Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, even as there was thin attendance in the House.
