Amethi (UP): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will be on a two-day visit to his Amethi Lok Sabha constituency from January 22, even as AAP leader Kumar Vishwas continued targeting him over development issues in the area.
“Rahul will be on a two-day visit starting January 22 during which he will meet party workers and make surprise inspection of some villages to review progress of central schemes,” Rahul's representative Chandrakant Dubey said today.
Meanwhile, Vishwas continued his campaigning in the area, and targeted Rahul on development of the district.
“A lot of claims has been made on development of Amethi but the reality is that there is no development here... Coming here and returning after waving at people will not serve the purpose of development,” he said.
Vishwas visited a number of places in Amethi, and inaugurated a cricket tournament.
