Rahul Gandhi should not have used the word 'nonsense', Sheila Dikshit tells Adalat

New Delhi: Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit has said Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi should not have used  words like 'nonsense' for the ordinance on convicted lawmakers later withdrawn by the Centre. Appearing in Rajat

On the rising numbers of rapes and murders in Delhi, Dikshit said due to Delhi's geographical location,  criminals slip into other states after committing crimes.

"Had the situation been that grim as projected,  then why 5 lakh people come to Delhi every year" was her counter-question.

Dikshit  said, she and her party  would  keep on demanding that police be handed over to Delhi government,  but the decision rests with the Centre  and has nothing to do with politics as Congress is in power at the Centre.
