Rahul Gandhi reluctant to share election dais with Lalu Prasad
New Delhi: Top sources in the Congress today said, the party vice-president Rahul Gandhi is reluctant to share the election dais with fodder scam convict and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad in the forthcoming Lok Sabha
The draft ordinance was later hurriedly withdrawn by the Union Cabinet after the return of Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh from abroad.
Rahul Gandhi had also remarked in an interview that he was allying with a political party (read RJD) and not with an individual (Lalu Prasad).
The Congress vice-president has been levelling charges against BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for siding with politicians facing corruption charges in Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
