Quid-pro-quo case: court summons against Jagan, N Srinivasan

Hyderabad: A special CBI court here today ordered issuance of summons against YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and India Cements MD N Srinivasan besides other accused in connection with the case pertaining to



Jagan and his financial advisor Vijay Sai Reddy figured as the first two accused in the chargesheet while other names included that of Srinivasan, IAS officers M Samuel and Aditya Nath Das, India Cements, Jagati Publications and Carmel Asia.

CBI, probing the quid-pro-quo investments case, has so far filed 10 chargesheets.

Jagan, who is the prime accused in the case, walked out of Chanchalguda jail yesterday after he was granted bail after 16 months.

The case relates to investments made by various companies in Jagan's firms as quid quo pro for alleged favours bestowed on them during the tenure of his father (late) Y S Rajasekhara Reddy as Chief Minister between 2004 and 2009.
