The Junior Basic Teacher scam, broadly known as the JBT scam, involved illegal recruitments of over 3000 Junior Basic Teachers in Harayana by changing the original list of selected candidates.
It all started when Sanjeev Kumar, former director of primary education and an IAS officer, filed a PIL in Supreme Court accusing Chautala government of forcing him to change the original list of selected candidates after the completion of the selection process.
