QaisarAli, the recent high school graduate, has expressed his regret for taking this @PMOIndia handle.
“Apology for taking the name of @PMOIndia . I did it because it was vacant . Apologies,” tweeted Qaisar.
“i don't have @PMOIndia account,” added Qaisar.
"I was shocked, honoured, but also scared. I'm just a 19-year-old kid from India, and this is a government matter. When they found out, my parents scolded me and told me to apologise to all the people of India,” Qaisar Ali told BBC.
The twitter handle @PMOIndia is now back to the PM's office but it had to start from scratch because all the million plus followers are now following @PMOIndiaArchive. And this is something that has been strongly criticised by the BJP leaders.
