Mukherjee's experience and support for reforms was of “inestimable value”, the outgoing Prime Minister said, adding “the President's wisdom, experience and knowledge is a great national asset. These feelings have come out of my heart”.
The President treated members of the outgoing government to Bengali delicacies like ‘sorsey paturi' fish and Punjabi ‘Kadi Pakora'.
In the non-vegetarian menu, besides the fish, the President's favourite dish- ‘Galoti Kebab', ‘Murgh Nihari'-and other assortment of chicken and fish delicacies were served.
For veggies, ‘Potol dorma (stuffed pointed gourd), ‘Anjeer (fig) ke Koftey', Punjabi ‘Karhi Pakora' and ‘Paneer Pasanda' were laid out.
