Dehradun: Senior police officers in Dehradun are leaving no stone unturned in finding the whereabouts of the missing calf of a minister of Harish Rawat cabinet.
The calf named 'Chulbul Pandey 'belongs to state's high profile minister Prasad Naithani. The minister who is said to have a strong political clout now has put the whole police machinery in search of his favourite calf.
It has been reported that the calf is missing from the minister's official residence at Dehradun. It is a high profile case since it is associated with a state minister, senior Police officials including the DSP have made many rounds of the house of the minister enquiring about the features of Chulbul Pandey.
The sources have said that the photo of Chulbul Pandey has been sent to all the nearby Police stations and Uttarakhand Police is keeping no stone unturned in this case. However the senior police official refuse to say anything in connection with this case.
Last Year, in another high profile theft case, Uttar Pradesh's Minister Azam Khan's seven buffaloes were stolen which were later recovered by the Uttar Pradesh Police.
