Puducherry: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with a few students of three schools in Puducherry today through video conferencing as part of the Union Ministry of Power's flagship programme called ‘Building Energy Awareness on Conservation (BEACON)'.
According to officials, these students have been selected from three schools - Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Thiruvandarkoil, St. Joseph of Cluny Higher Secondary School and St. Patricks Matric High School.
Modi is also likely to interact with students of around 20 schools across the country today.
The objective of this programme is to create awareness of energy competitiveness and energy security among children and their parents at the individual level on a smaller scale.
